First time!

So I've decided that I'm going to jump on the band wagon and start a blog! A lot of people we know have websites so we'll give it a try too! We had a great Christmas visiting family and enjoying our time off from work and school. I had to work last week for a couple of days, but I have Monday off and I have the 15th off as well. Mick starts school again on the 8th. I think he is ready to go back...working again as a social worker makes him remember why he wanted a new career. At least he is able to work during his 6 weeks off!! Remember those days?

Graham enjoyed seeing his grandparents, aunts and uncles over Christmas! It's so fun to hear him call them "Mimi" or "Papa"! We got to see alot of trucks, trains, and big machines while visiting Mick's parents in Hobbs, NM. Graham loved riding around the block in the firetruck! The joys of living in a small town...you get to do things like ride in a firetruck!

We are looking forward to the new year...to us it is one step closer to being done with school and leaving Houston! Neither one of us are liking this city very much! We are counting down the days until we leave! Mick's car got broken into Thursday night, so that justs makes us like this place even more! We are trying to have good attitudes about living here, but it seems like nothing goes right for us here. I'm sure it'll get better with time!

My New years resolutions:

1. Spend more time with my family having fun!
2. Be healthier for my heart!
3. Have a more positive attitude about Houston.
4. Get more organized.
