The daycare blues

Am I a bad parents that I send my son to daycare? Sometimes I feel that way. To be honest most of the time I don't feel guilty about taking him to daycare because I know that he has fun and he likes his teachers, but today I felt really guilty. I'm guessing it's because of the holidays and us spending alot more time together, but this morning he threw a big fit when I told him it was time to go to "school" (that's what we call daycare). He sprawled out on the couch and said "I no go to school" "Mommy sit down on couch" as he shook his head no. It was so much easier when I could just pick him up, put him in the car seat, and take him to school without it being a big deal. No such luck these days! After I convinced him to go to school we get to my car and all he wants to do is play in the front seat....one of his favorite things to do. Stalling?? No, not my child. What a sneaky little boy. Finally, I bribe him into his car seat with some juice (crystal light) and we're off to school. When we get to school he gets out of my arms nicely and goes right into his classroom....no tears are shed. I guess I'm not feeling as guilty anymore....
