Hi there! I know it's been a LONG time since I blogged, but I've been busy with work and too tired at night to post. So let me update you on our lives lately. Mick has finished his first month back in school. I can't believe that in a couple of months I can say that he has one year left!! Greatness!! I've been counting down the months! He is enjoying his second year, but seems to be busier this year than last. He still works about 10 hours a week at the nursing home doing social work and he is tutoring this semester for one of the first year law classes. He laughs because he has to have office hours each week. Hard to believe that this is the same person that in college went to maybe half of his classes each semester. I'm really proud of how he's done the past year in school.
I have been busy with work lately. It kind of comes in spurts...some weeks I'm really busy and some weeks I'm not that busy. I think I'm finally getting comfortable in my job, so that makes life more enjoyable. It's nice not to leave work and think "what did I miss" or "what did I do wrong". I really do like my job and most of the time I feel really good about what I do....however, there are still days that I wonder how I work in Oncology...especially now that I have a child. It never gets easier to tell a family that their child is not going to be cured of their disease. I thank God everyday that my child is healthy.
Graham is growing like a weed....well, not really but he is talking like crazy. Everything is "what's that doing mommy?" "where's that truck going mommy". He loves to change the words to songs and throw the word "truck" or "cement mixer" into songs like "twinkle twinkle" or "ABC". He thinks he is hilarious when he does that. I'm afraid that we might have a class clown on our hands. I can just see it now... being called by his first grade teacher because he won't listen in class and wants to change the words to the songs they sing. He also likes to call us different names, like point to Mick and call him "papa" or "aunt brooke". He again will die laughing when he does this. My favorite thing he does lately is say "stop kidding guys" and "you silly goose". It always makes me laugh when he says that.
We went to the beach this weekend with Mick's parents and sisters. We had a great time!! The weather was perfect and it being the "off season" at the beach, there was no one around us! We swam in the ocean and the pool, ate great food, and laughed alot. I think everyone had a good time.
Here are a few pictures from the weekend:

Looks like a lot of fun. Glad the weather was good! I enjoyed getting to visit and see the silliness hasn't changed between Alyssa and Graham.
Yea, Alexis posted a new blog! I miss seeing and hearing Graham running around with Kennedy.
