17 weeks

Well, I'm 17 weeks pregnant and feeling better these days. I still have my moments of nausea and fatigue, but overall I'm feeling much better! The only thing that bugs me is how sort of breath I get....it is so frustrating to walk up one flight of stairs and feel like I just ran a marathon. My OB says that it is due to my vascular system expanding to pump more blood through my body which can cause you to be out of breath! Whatever it is, it is annoying! Oh well, it is worth it!

We find out what we're having this Friday! We are very excited and really don't have a feeling about what this baby could be. I have had 2 girl dreams so we'll see if they're right! Graham thinks that I have a flower in my stomach and refuses to say whether he thinks it is a boy or girl! Every time I ask him what he thinks the baby in my tummy is he says "a flower"....so that doesn't help! I think he's going to have a rude awakening when the baby is born and it's a human and not a flower! I put a poll to the right of my blog so you can vote on what you think our baby is!

I'm starting to feel him/her move more...I was trying to describe the feeling to Mick so I told him it feels like little popcorn popping in my stomach. Kind of weird, huh? I can't wait for Mick and Graham to be able to feel the baby kick! I'm curious to see what Graham thinks about it. I'm sure he'll just laugh and tell me I'm funny!
