Too sick for trains!

On Friday when I picked Graham up from school he burst into tears when he saw me (very unusual for him) so I knew something wasn't right.....as you can see by the picture I was right! On Saturday morning he woke up not feeling well and spent the rest of the weekend vomiting and having diarrhea! Poor baby! He sure was pitiful! Normally he doesn't get his "pacie" except at bedtime...but I of course let him have it all day and night this weekend. Wouldn't you want your pacifier if you were sick?? I would!

We won a train table on ebay this week (which we are so excited about)! For those of you who don't have kids who are into Thomas the Train then let me tell you how expensive this stuff is!! The trains are about $15-$20 dollars per car! Then the table and tracks are much more than that! Well, we got the table, about 20 trains, plus accessories (mountains, train station) and a ton of tracks all for under $100 dollars! What a deal!! I think we were more excited than Graham. He didn't touch the table until late this evening. I knew he wasn't feeling well at all when he wouldn't play with his new spiffy train table!! Oh, and if you're wondering if we are going to keep the train table in our living room...No, we just wanted to set it up (glue the tracks down, etc.) somewhere we could work on it when Graham was asleep! Eventually it will go into his room!

You know your child feels bad when they cry "I want to go night-night" "I want to go night-night". This is what Graham just got done doing...he usually is great when it comes to going to bed, no tantrums at all....we just usually take a bath, read about 3 books and then go to bed. Not tonight....he did take a bath (had to get all the germs off!) and then he started crying that he wanted to go to bed! So that's where he is right now! He asked...I provided! I hope that he feels better tomorrow...and that Mick and I don' t get this!

He is such a beautiful little boy...even when he's sick! We haven't had the stomach bug yet, but we've had one ear infection and a sinus infection and it's so pitiful! Well, I hope he starts feeling better soon. Sorry the aquarium sucked:) Andrea

So sorry that Graham was sick. he looks so cute, but so sad lying there. Avery had the stomach bug too a week ago Thursday-- and then she shared it with Scott and I:) Unfortunately she got another RSV-type virus directly after that- but she's all better now. It's so awful when they're sick. You can't wait to get your normal, happy child back.
